A positive attitude may not solve all of your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

The Grinch

Who could help but love this grouchy, green, pot-bellied little creature? I know I can't. Maybe it is because I have a little Grinch within. Just remember that even this Nasty little man was able to be won over by some TLC. Way to go Cindy Lu Who!! Remeber to be kind even to the Grinch during this holiday season.

From This: To This!!! Merry CHRISTmas!!!!!!

Expectation . . ."The Most Wonderful Time of the Year"?

We are in full swing of the Christmas Season - - commonly referred to as "The Most Wonderful" time of the year!! If this is true then why is it during this time we see an increase in suicides, depression, and people who are generally irritable? My friend and I were in Bealls shopping and there was a woman who was absolutely RUDE to Katherine. Katherine was trying to get through the line to the other side to look at something. Katherine politely said excuse me with no response- So Katherine politely repeated excuse me. The woman's reply was - "I heard you but I am not moving. If you want through you will have to go around!" What would make someone act do horrid during the most wonderful time of the year?? I can tell you what . . . .

We expect this time of the year to be perfect and bright!! Yet we do nothing to make it this way. People are people - and they are going to be so regardless of the date on the calendar. We expect more but do we put in more??? We get so wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of commercialization that we lose sight of the priorities of the season. The birth of our Lord and our families and friends. Help someone in need have a brighter holiday season and it will make yours brighter as well.

So while dashing from store to store trying to find the perfect gift for someone that you have absolutly no idea what to get and your frustration level is rising. Remember the reason for this special time of year. Stop and be thankful for the friends and family that you have and our Saviour who gave his life for us.
